Description
Public Notice
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has prepared a Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for the proposed High Desert Trail project and is seeking public comment. The High Desert Trail would be designated on approximately 800 miles of existing routes primarily across BLM-managed lands, with staging areas, signage, wayfinding, and administration of special recreation permits for events and guiding on the trail. The purpose of the project is to provide a designated, long distance, off-highway vehicle route that improves recreation opportunities and supports rural communities through recreation-based visitation.
Two virtual public meetings will be held to provide information about the project and the NEPA process:
Monday, June 8 | 2:00-3:00 p.m. Mountain Time
