Museum Collections Tour

Get a behind-the-scenes look at objects not currently on display at the Museum on Center St. as well as the archival techniques utilized. Join the Museum on Wednesday, March 11th from 10:30 - 11:30 AM, and each following second Wednesday of each month this Spring until June, for a Moab Museum Collections Storage Facility tour–a behind-the-scenes showcase of the Museum’s Collections. This is an opportunity to learn about the many thousands of objects not currently on display at the Museum on Center St., as well as the archival techniques Museum staff employ to take care of and conserve the range of objects entrusted to the institution. As a guest on this tour, you'll be part of the first public cohort to see the space since it's been renovated and all Museum collections have been transferred in! We greatly look forward to introducing you to our collections work and the many special objects therein. It's FREE!!!
