About
The Moab Museum's Mission is to Share Stories. We seek to educate and inspire our community about the cultural and natural history of Moab and the Canyonlands region. Having been around since 1958, our Museum has rotated exhibits in our small gallery space annually for the past few years. We conduct oral histories, personal reminiscences, host programs, speakers, book talks, in the field tours, and much more. We offer free admission to active duty service members and their families, SNAP EBT card holders, and now all grand county students through 2026. Admission is nominal at $10 a head and memberships start at $25/year which includes free admission for a full calendar year. We were voted most outstanding museum of the year in 2024 and have been nominated for our recent exhibition "U92: Moab's Uranium Legacy" for several national exhibit awards.
